What we hear today from the dance music? 80% of it is House! Where did he come from? Like all the most trendy, certainly in America, in the the birthplace of jazz, funk, disco and hip-hop. Marshall Jefferson - Move Your Body
Somewhere in the 80's, when everybody were already tired of disco, the need fora new sound increased,so thatinChicago music producersputted together disco and thedrummachine andgot thehousemusic. NotoriousFrankie Knuckles was playing it atthe"Warehouse" club.
The new genre got its name from the name of the club - "House music". Disco was made with a live orchestra drummers and singers, house was composed in home conditions, and everything you need to do to compose house is a four-track recorder and drum machine.

"In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box, Jack boldly declared, "Let there be house!" and house music was born. " (the lyrics "Can You Feel it" Mr. Fingers aka Larry Heard)

J - Rocc is one of the the founding fathers of Beat Junkies, and as for me, his debut solo record «Some Cold Rock Stuf» is a real novelty of the year.
Original instrumental hip-hop, that, for sure, will find it's fans.
Tracklist poured with variety of moods, like a bubble on the light. And compositions «Party», «Chasing The Sun» are good examples, wich I like the most.
A great pity that I've missed his concert in Moscow last year. No doubt, it was a cool show.

11th of february Project: Mooncircle released his record "The branches". “The Branches” album is a reflection of a world, where human feelings and natural powers are bound together. Everything is correlated in this world. There is no alive-dead distinction. The season change depends just on state of mind. Every move, every wind breath, every sound brings an information, opened for everyone who believes and ready to accept it, who hears and knows how to listen.
For my point of view, this is one of the best releases of winter 2011, each track is so unique and so usual in the same time, I'm pretty sure, that almost everyone will enjoy it, in quite night when you are siting by yourself in front of the pc, or in club where you are chilling with your friends, everywhere and anytime, it will sound awesome. So listen to this two tracks("the roots" is from "the branches")

On March 22nd, CunninLynguists are dropping off their fifth studio album "Oneirology". For all hip - hop fans, it is available on the web. Overall, the album is quite good, but it's not their best work, there are 3-5 dope tracks, but still nothing special. The most awesome track (for us) is "get ignorant", you can hear real Cunninlynguists there, so check the audio in the bottom of the post:). Also there is a view, that a tracklist is monotonous, most of the tracks sound similar and boring, taking into account, that these guys really know how to make music, this fact a little bit frustrating us. So, we advise you to download "Oneirology", but don't be shocked, if you won't hear anything fascinating.
